La République de Moldavie prend les mesures appropriées pour assurer la protection des informations classifiées de l’Union européenne conformément au règlement de sécurité du Conseil de l’Union européenne contenu dans la décision 2011/292/UE du Conseil du 31 mars 2011 concernant les règles de sécurité aux fins de la protection des informations classifiées de l’Union européenne (1), et conformément aux autres orientations émises par les autorités compétentes, notamment le commandant de l’opération de l’Union européenne dans le cas d’une opération militaire de gestion de crise menée par l’Union européenne ou le chef de mission de l’Union européenne dans le cas d’une opération civile de gestion de crise menée par l’Union européenne.
1. The Republic of Moldova shall take appropriate measures to ensure that EU classified information is protected in accordance with the European Union Council’s security regulations, contained in Council Decision 2011/292/EU of 31 March 2011 on the security rules for protecting EU classified information (1), and in accordance with further guidance issued by competent authorities, including the EU Operation Commander concerning an EU military crisis management operation or by the EU Head of Mission concerning an EU civilian crisis management operation.

RAPPELANT, à cet égard, que les dispositions de l'accord qui relèvent de la troisième partie, titre V, du traité sur le fonctionnement de l'Union européenne lient le Royaume-Uni et l'Irlande en tant que parties contractantes distinctes et non en qualité de partie de l'Union européenne jusqu'à ce que l'Union européenne notifie (le cas échéant) à la République de Corée que l'un ou l'autre de ces deux États est désormais lié pour ces questions en tant que membre de l'Union européenne, conformément au protocole sur la position du Royaume-Uni et de l'Irlande annexé au traité sur l'Union européenne et au traité sur le fonctionnement de l'Union européenne, et que la même remarque s'applique au Danemark, conformément au protocole correspondant annexé auxdits traités;
RECALLING in this regard that the provisions of the Agreement that fall within the scope of Part III, Title V of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union bind the United Kingdom and Ireland as separate Contracting Parties, and not as part of the European Union, until the European Union (as the case may be) notifies the Republic of Korea that either State has become bound on these matters as part of the European Union in accordance with the Protocol on the position of the United Kingdom and Ireland annexed to the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and that the same applies to Denmark, in accordance with the relevant Protocol annexed to those Treaties;

En ce qui concerne le Liechtenstein, la présente décision constitue un développement des dispositions de l’acquis de Schengen au sens du protocole entre l’Union européenne, la Communauté européenne, la Confédération suisse et la Principauté de Liechtenstein sur l’adhésion de la Principauté de Liechtenstein à l’accord entre l’Union européenne, la Communauté européenne et la Confédération suisse sur l’association de la Confédération suisse à la mise en œuvre, à l’application et au développement de l’acquis de Schengen, qui relève du domaine visé à l’article 1er, point B, de la décision 1999/437/CE en liaison avec l’article 3 de la décision 2008/261/CE du Conseil du 28 février 2008 relative à la signature, au nom de l’Union européenne, et à l’application provisoire de certaines dispositions du protocole entre l’Union européenne, la Communauté européenne, la Confédération suisse et la Principauté de Liechtenstein sur l’adhésion de la Principauté de Liechtenstein à l’accord entre l’Union européenne, la Communauté européenne et la Confédération suisse sur l’association de la Confédération suisse à la mise en œuvre, à l’application et au développement de l’acquis de Schengen (7).
As regards Liechtenstein, this Decision constitutes a development of the provisions of the Schengen acquis within the meaning of the Protocol between the European Union, the European Community, the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein on the accession of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the Agreement between the European Union, the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on the Swiss Confederation’s association with the implementation, application and development of the Schengen acquis which falls within the area referred to in Article 1, point B of Decision 1999/437/EC read in conjunction with Article 3 of Council Decision 2008/261/EC of 28 February 2008 on the signature, on behalf of the European Community, and on the provisional application of certain provisions of the Protocol between the European Union, the European Community, the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein on the accession of the Principality of Liechtenstein to the Agreement between the European Union, the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on the Swiss Confederation’s association with the implementation, application and development of the Schengen acquis (7).
