The Commission will shortly adopt a communication setting out the situation of people with disabilities in the enlarged EU based on information and analyses stemming in particular from the national action plans on employment and social inclusion, and drawing the attention of the various stakeholders to the positive outlook for disabled people resulting from the new Lisbon Strategy.
