Je me réjouis sur le fond de l’intention affichée par la Commission, même si je souscris à certaines observations du rapporteur, notamment lorsqu’il avertit que les initiatives réglementaires doivent être limitées au "cadre général" et à quelques domaines ponctuels, en laissant aux opérateurs économiques eux-mêmes une marge de manœuvre suffisante pour l’autorégulation.
I welcome, in principle, the intention announced by the Commission, although I do agree with some of the rapporteur’s observations, in particular his warning that regulatory initiatives should be restricted to the ‘big picture’ and a number of selected areas, giving the economic operators themselves the necessary leeway for self-regulation.

Ce qui nous semble particulièrement positif, c'est l'ouverture obtenue dans le domaine des services financiers, des télécommunications et des assurances, car elle va sans aucun doute créer des opportunités pour nos opérateurs économiques, de même que l'ouverture graduelle des marchés de l'énergie en Chine, qui apportera, outre des bénéfices économiques certains, un plus grand respect des normes environnementales de la part de ce pays.
What seems particularly positive to us is the opening up achieved in the field of financial services, telecommunications and insurance, which will offer opportunities, with no doubt whatsoever, to our economic operators, and also the gradual opening up of the energy markets in China which, apart from certain economic benefits, will lead to greater compliance with environmental standards in that country.
