Le 13 juin 2012, la Conférence internationale du travail (CIT) a adopté une résolution «concernant les mesures sur la question du Myanmar adoptées en vertu de l’article 33 de la constitution de l’OIT» (ci-après dénommée «résolution CIT»).
On 13 June 2012 the International Labour Conference (ILC) adopted a resolution ‘Concerning the measures on the subject of Myanmar adopted under article 33 of the ILO Constitution’ (ILC resolution).

Prenant note des conclusions adoptées le 4 juin 2012 par la commission de l’application des normes de la CIT et considérant que le maintien des mesures existantes ne contribuerait plus à atteindre le résultat souhaité, la CIT a décidé de lever les restrictions excluant le gouvernement du Myanmar/de la Birmanie du bénéfice d’une coopération technique et d’une assistance de la part de l’OIT.
Taking note of the conclusions adopted on 4 June 2012 by the ILC Committee on the Application of Standards and considering that maintaining the existing measures would no longer help attaining the desired result, the ILC decided to lift restrictions, which excluded the Government of Myanmar/Burma from receiving ILO technical cooperation and assistance.
