33. souligne que l’organisation commune de marché (OCM) des produits de la pêche et de l’aquaculture devrait contribuer à permettre de meilleurs revenus de la petite pêche, la stabilité des marchés, l’amélioration de la commercialisation des produits de la pêche et l’augmentation de leur valeur ajoutée; exprime sa préoccupation face à la possibilité d’un démantèlement des instruments publics existants de régulation des marchés – organismes publics de réglementation et aides au stockage à terre –, et réclame une réforme ambitieuse, qui renforce les instruments de l’OCM pour réaliser ses objectifs;
33. Stresses that the common organisation of the market (COM) in fishery and aquaculture products should contribute to enabling a greater output of small-scale fishing, market stability, improved marketing of fisheries products and an increase in their value added; expresses concern at the possibility of abolition of the still-existing public market regulation instruments, public regulatory bodies and supports for storage on land, and calls for an ambitious reform that enhances the COM’s instruments for achieving its goals;

15. se félicite que la Commission souhaite réduire les émissions liées au transport de marchandises et l'invite à présenter une proposition législative sur l'intégration des transports maritimes et fluviaux dans le système d'échange de droits d'émission; approuve aussi, dans ce contexte, l'élaboration d'une nouvelle politique maritime et se félicite que doive être présentée une proposition de réforme de l'organisation commune des marchés (OCM) des produits de la pêche et de l'aquaculture, mais engage instamment la Commission à indiquer comment elle entend redéployer 6 000 000 EUR dans le domaine de la politique de la pêche; invite la Commission à ajouter aux actions clés envisagées pour 2009 au titre de l''Europe durable" un nouveau chapitre consacré à la réforme de l'OCM des produits de la pêche et de l'aquaculture;
15. Welcomes the Commission's wish to reduce emissions related to the transport of goods and calls on the Commission to submit a legislative proposal on the inclusion of maritime and inland waterway transport in the emissions trading scheme; welcomes also in this context the development of a new maritime policy and the intention of submitting a proposal on the reform of the common organisation of the market (COM) in fishery and aquaculture products, but urges the Commission to clarify how it intends to redeploy EUR 6 million within the fisheries policy; calls on the Commission to add to the key actions envisaged for 2009 under "sustainable Europe" a new chapter on the reform of the COM in fishery and aquaculture products;

5. souligne que la contribution de l'OCM des produits de la pêche en faveur de ce secteur a régressé, principalement après la réforme de 2000; estime que le renversement de cette tendance, notamment par un renforcement significatif des moyens financiers, doit être un des principaux objectifs d'une future révision de l'OCM des produits de la pêche, afin que celle-ci puisse garantir un financement communautaire qui soit à la mesure des besoins de ce secteur de manière à pouvoir remplir les objectifs définis dans le traité;
5. Emphasises that the contribution of the COM in fisheries products to the sector has fallen, especially since the 2000 revision; believes that the reversal of this trend, notably by a significant reinforcement of financial resources, must be one of the main objectives of a future revision of the COM in fisheries products, thus enabling it to guarantee Community funding at an adequate level for the fisheries sector's needs in order to fulfil the objectives laid down in the Treaty;

Dans ce contexte, et compte tenu du retard de presque une année dans la présentation du rapport d’évaluation de l’OCM, quand la Commission compte-t-elle présenter les lignes générales de la révision de l’OCM des produits de la pêche et que pense-t-elle des propositions avancées par le Parlement européen concernant la production de nouveaux instruments d’intervention sur le marché, comme l’imposition maximale des revenus ou l’indemnisation compensatoire pour la sardine?
In this connection, and given the delay of almost a year in submitting the evaluation report on the COM, can the Commission state when it intends to submit its guidelines for the revision of the COM in fisheries products? Can it also state its position on the proposals put forward by Parliament for creating new market intervention mechanisms, such as capping rates of profit or a compensatory payment for sardines?

21. se félicite que la Commission prévoie d'effectuer une évaluation approfondie de l'actuelle OCM des produits de la pêche; souligne la nécessité d'une révision ambitieuse de cette OCM si l'on veut améliorer la commercialisation du poisson et des produits de la pêche et en renforcer la valeur ajoutée;
21. Welcomes the fact that the Commission intends to launch a comprehensive evaluation of the present COM for fish products; stresses the need for an ambitious review of this COM in order to improve the marketing of fish and fish products and boost their added value;
