In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1987/2006 and Decision 2007/533/JHA the Commission is to be responsible, during a transitional period, for the operational management of Central SIS II. After that transitional period, a Management Authority is to be responsible for the operational management of Central SIS II and certain aspects of the communication infrastructure.
