Eu égard aux considérations qui précèdent et conformément à l'article 6, paragraphe 2, du règlement, la commission des affaires juridiques, après avoir examiné les arguments tant en faveur que contre la levée de l'immunité du député, recommande que le Parlement européen lève l'immunité parlementaire de Georgios Toussas.
On the basis of the above considerations and pursuant to Rule 6(2) of the Rules of Procedure, the Committee on Legal Affairs, having examined the reasons for and against waiving the Member’s immunity, recommends that the European Parliament should waive the parliamentary immunity of Georgios Toussas.

At the plenary sitting of 9 March 2011, the President announced, in accordance with Rule 6(2) of the Rules of Procedure that he had received a letter from Illias Stavropoulos, judge at the Piraeus Court of First Instance, Section 7, dated 9 February 2011, requesting the waiver of the parliamentary immunity of Georgios Toussas.
