L'IMI contribuera également à renforcer l'application du droit communautaire au niveau national, et donc à réaliser le programme «Mieux légiférer»[3]. Il devrait également s'inscrire dans le cadre du plan d'action i2010 pour l’e-gouvernement[4] et de son objectif «Faire de l’efficacité une réalité».
IMI will also help to improve the application of Community law at national level, and thus contribute to the EU Better Regulation agenda.[3] IMI should also be seen in the context of the i2010 eGovernment Action Plan[4] and its objective of "making efficiency and effectiveness a reality".
