Il y a eu un vote libre hier sur un projet de loi tout aussi controversé, le projet de loi pour le droit de mourir dignement, que l'on appelle communément « le projet de loi sur l'euthanasie », proposé par Mme Lalonde du Bloc québécois.
We saw a free vote yesterday on an equally controversial bill, the right to die with dignity bill, or what's commonly referred to as “the euthanasia bill”, sponsored by Ms. Lalonde from the Bloc Québécois.

Je voudrais déclarer, d'entrée de jeu, que je n'appuierai pas le projet de loi C-384, qui propose de légaliser l'aide médicale au suicide et l'euthanasie sous certaines conditions.
I would like to state from the outset that I do not support Bill C-384 which proposes the legalization of physician assisted suicide and euthanasia under specific conditions.

Je propose que la commission des libertés civiles, de la justice et des affaires intérieures aborde la question et que le Parlement tienne un débat concernant la pratique de l’euthanasie sur les enfants.
