L'article 10, paragraphe 4, du protocole no 36 autorisait le Royaume-Uni à notifier au Conseil, au plus tard six mois avant l'expiration de la période transitoire de cinq ans visée à l'article 10, paragraphe 3, dudit protocole, qu'il n'acceptait pas, en ce qui concerne les actes de l'Union dans le domaine de la coopération policière et judiciaire en matière pénale qui avaient été adoptés avant l'entrée en vigueur du traité de Lisbonne, les attributions de la Commission et de la Cour de justice visées à l'article 10, paragraphe 1, de ce même protocole.
Article 10(4) of Protocol No 36 allowed the United Kingdom, at the latest six months before the expiry of the five year transitional period referred to in Article 10(3) of Protocol No 36, to notify to the Council that it does not accept, with respect to acts of the Union in the field of police cooperation and judicial cooperation in criminal matters which had been adopted before the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon, the powers of the Commission and of the Court of Justice as referred to in Article 10(1) of Protocol No 36.
