Elle a cependant demandé à l'Espagne de prendre toutes les mesures nécessaires pour récupérer auprès de González y Díez S.A. des aides à concurrence de 2,745 millions € versées au titre des années 1998 et 2000.
The Commission today authorised operating aid for 2001 of €5.85 million and aid for the reduction of activity of €850 000 for the Spanish González y Díez S.A. company. However, it asked Spain to take all the measures necessary to recover from González y Díez S.A. aid totalling €2.745 million paid for 1998 and 2000.

La Commission a décidé aujourd'hui de clôturer l'enquête ouverte en février 2003 concernant l'aide octroyée à l'entreprise houillère espagnole González y Diez S.A. La Commission a conclu qu'une partie de l'aide accordée en 1998 et 2000 avait été utilisée abusivement et que seule une partie de l'aide octroyée en 2001 pouvait être autorisée.
The Commission today decided to close the investigation which was opened in February 2003 into aid granted to the Spanish coalmining company González y Diez S.A.. The Commission has concluded that the aid with regard to the years 1998 and 2000 has been in part abused and that the aid for 2001 can only partly be authorised.

(3) La Commission doit analyser si les aides versées par l'Espagne à l'entreprise González y Díez SA pour les années 1998 et 2000, dans le cadre de l'article 5 de la décision n° 3632/93/CECA, à concurrence respectivement de 3918049,35 euros [651908560 pesetas espagnoles (ESP)] et 2786246,34 euros (463592384 ESP), ont été utilisées par cette entreprise aux fins pour lesquelles ces aides ont été autorisées par la Commission.
(3) The Commission must analyse whether the aid of EUR 3918049,35 (ESP 651908560) and EUR 2786246,34 (ESP 463592384) granted by Spain to González y Díez SA in 1998 and 2000 respectively under Article 5 of Decision No 3632/93/ECSC was used by that undertaking for the purposes authorised by the Commission.
