L'article 7, paragraphe 3, de la directive 1999/32/CE du Conseil du 26 avril 1999 concernant une réduction de la teneur en soufre de certains combustibles liquides et modifiant la directive 93/12/CEE(8) prévoit que la Commission détermine quelles mesures pourraient être prises pour réduire la contribution à l'acidification que représente la combustion des carburants à usage maritime autres que ceux visés à l'article 2, paragraphe 3, de la directive.
Article 7(3) of Council Directive 1999/32/EC of 26 April 1999 relating to a reduction in the sulphur content of certain liquid fuels and amending Directive 93/12/EEC(8) requires the Commission to consider which measures could be taken to reduce the contribution to acidification of the combustion of marine fuels other than those specified in Article 2(3) of that Directive.

(2) considérant que, au stade du marché unique, les systèmes de prix étant unifiés et la politique agricole étant communautaire, les conséquences financières qui en résultent incombent à la Communauté; que, en vertu de ce principe tel qu'il figure à l'article 2, paragraphe 2, du règlement n° 25, les restitutions à l'exportation vers les pays tiers, les interventions destinées à la régularisation des marchés agricoles, les actions de développement rural, les actions vétérinaires ponctuelles définies dans la décision 90/424/CEE du Conseil du 26 juin 1990 relative à certaines dépenses dans le domaine vétérinaire(6), ainsi que les actions d'information sur la politique agricole commune et certaines actions d'évaluation sont financées par la section "garantie" du Fonds en vue de réaliser les objectifs définis à l'article 33, paragraphe 1, du traité;
(2) Whereas at the single market stage, in view of the fact that price systems are standardised and the agricultural policy is a Community policy, the financial consequences devolve upon the Community; whereas, in accordance with that principle as laid down in Article 2(2) of Regulation No 25, refunds on exports to third countries, intervention aimed at stabilising agricultural markets, rural development measures, specific veterinary measures as laid down in Council Decision 90/424/EEC of 26 June 1990 on expenditure in the veterinary field(6), measures intended to provide information on the common agricultural policy and certain evaluation actions should be financed by the "Guarantee" section of the Fund in order to achieve the objectives set out in Article 33(1) of the Treaty;
