Breitkreuz (Yorkton–Melville), propose l’amendement suivant, — Qu’on modifie la motion en retranchant tous les mots suivant le mot “Que" et en les remplaçant par ce qui suit : « le projet de loi C–61, Loi portant mise en œuvre de l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-Israël, ne soit pas maintenant lu une troisième fois mais qu’il soit renvoyé au Comité permanent des affaires étrangères et du commerce international afin de reconsidérer l’article 62, et particulièrement, envisager le changement substantiel de la date de mise en œuvre».
Mr. Martin (Esquimalt–Juan de Fuca), seconded by Mr. Breitkreuz (Yorkton–Melville), moved the following amendment, — That the motion be amended by deleting all the words after the word “That” and substituting the following: “Bill C–61, An Act to implement the Canada-Israel Free Trade Agreement, be not now read a third time but be referred back to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade for the purpose of reconsidering Clause 62, and in particular, to consider substantially changing the implementation date”.

Le Comité l’a amendé (pour modifier les art. 30.61, 30.62 et 30.63 proposés de la LDA) afin de limiter la portée des nouvelles exceptions concernant la reproduction de programmes d’ordinateur et d’éviter d’éventuelles conséquences imprévues.
