6. se félicite de sa propre contribution à l'élaboration de ce programme de travail de la Commission et des efforts accomplis par cette dernière en vue de poursuivre l'amélioration du contenu et de la présentation de ce programme annuel; demande en particulier que la Commission explique mieux le lien existant entre les objectifs stratégiques et la liste des propositions choisies pour les réaliser; espère que dans, un futur très proche, le programme de travail annuel deviendra un véritable programme d'action interinstitutionnel grâce auquel les citoyens intéressés pourront être informés de manière suivie concernant la manière dont l'Union envisage de résoudre leurs problèmes;

Welcomes its own contribution to the preparation of this Commission Work Programme and welcomes the Commission's efforts to continue improving the content and presentation of the annual programme; requests, in particular that the Commission better explain the link between the strategic objectives and the list of proposals chosen to achieve them; hopes that in the very near future the annual work programme will become a real interinstitutional action programme through which interested citizens can be informed and follow how Europe plans to address their problems;

27. réaffirme sa volonté, exprimée dans sa résolution du 12 mai 2005 sur la mise en oeuvre de la stratégie d'information et de communication de l´Union européenne , d'approfondir la coopération interinstitutionnelle à ce sujet en organisant annuellement un grand débat sur la base d'un rapport présenté par la Commission, en y associant les commissions ayant une compétence globale et partielle en la matière, débat auquel participerait également le Conseil;
27. Reiterates the willingness it expressed in its resolution of 12 May 2005 on the implementation of the European Union's information and communication strategy to deepen interinstitutional cooperation in this area by organising a major debate each year on the basis of a report submitted by the Commission - a debate in which the committees with full or partial responsibility for the matter would be involved and in which the Council would also take part;

J'approuve, à ce sujet, totalement l'idée de votre rapporteur de renforcer le rôle de coordination et d'orientation du groupe interinstitutionnel d'information auquel préside, de la part du Parlement, le vice-président Vidal-Quadras que je salue et remercie pour les références qu'il vient de faire au travail de coopération avec la Commission.
In this respect, I fully support the rapporteur’s idea to strengthen the coordinating and guidance role of the Interinstitutional Group on Information, chaired on behalf of Parliament by Vice-President Vidal-Quadras Roca, whom I would like to acknowledge and thank for the comments he has made on the efforts to co-operate with the Commission.
