IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Dans le cadre de l’application de l’article 7, paragraphes 1 à 3, de la présente décision, les initiatives de coopération ou d’autres formes de coopération supposent également que les autorités gouvernementales, les organisations régionales et sous-régionales, les autorités locales et, le cas échéant, d’autres organismes ou institutions publics et privés (y compris les prestataires de services publics) d’un PTOM peuvent participer à un groupement européen de coopération territoriale (GECT) sous réserve des règles et objectifs des activités de coopération prévus par la présente décision et de ceux prévus par le règlement (CE) no 1082/2006 et conformément aux modalités applicables à l’État membre dont relève le PTOM.
In the application of Article 7(1) to (3) of this Decision, the cooperation initiatives or other forms of cooperation shall also mean that governmental authorities, regional and sub-regional organisations, local authorities and, where appropriate, other public and private bodies or institutions (including public service providers) from an OCTs may participate in a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) subject to the rules and objectives of the cooperation activities of this Decision and those of Regulation (EC) No 1082/2006 and in accordance with the arrangements applicable to the Member State to which the OCTs is linked.

As laid down in the general provisions, Member States can also delegate the task of managing authority and joint technical secretariat to the European grouping of territorial cooperation (EGTC), which is the legal cooperation instrument.

Member States participating in an operational programme under the European territorial cooperation objective may make use of the European grouping of territorial cooperation under Regulation (EC) No 1082/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 July 2006 on a European grouping of territorial cooperation (EGTC) (10) with a view to making that grouping responsible for managing the operational programme by conferring on it the responsibilities of the managing authority and of the joint technical secretariat.

56. European groups of regulators Recently a new organisational form of involvement of national regulators at Community level has developed in the form of European groups of regulators which aim to reinforce and formalise the role of sector-specific regulatory authorities at EU level.
