En ce qui concerne les rapports que nous débattons ce soir, permettez-moi simplement de souligner que, de notre point de vue, il aurait été préférable qu’il y ait un plus grand respect de l’équilibre institutionnel, comme cela avait été envisagé, selon nous, dans la proposition initiale, en relation avec la nomination des membres du Conseil consultatif européen pour la gouvernance statistique et la rédaction et la transmission des rapports du Conseil.
As regards the reports we are debating tonight, allow me to point out simply that from our point of view it would have been preferable if there were greater respect for the institutional balance, as envisaged, in our view, in the initial proposal, in relation to the appointment of members of the European Statistical Governance Advisory Board and the drafting and transmission of that Board’s reports.
