IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

(A) la demande à l'examen se fonde sur l'article 4, paragraphe 1, point a), du règlement (UE) nº 1309/2013 relatif au Fonds européen d'ajustement à la mondialisation et concerne 657 travailleurs licenciés dans l'entreprise Aleo Solar AG et ses deux filiales, Aleo Solar Dritte Produktion GmbH (Prenzlau) et Aleo Solar Deutschland GmbH (Oldenbourg), qui opéraient dans le secteur économique classé dans la division 26 ("Fabrication de produits informatiques, électroniques et optiques") de la NACE Rév. 2; les licenciements effectués par les entreprises concernées ont eu lieu dans le Brandebourg, région de niveau NUTS 2, pendant la période de référence comprise entre le 7 mars 2014 et le 7 juillet 2014;
(A) Whereas this application is based on Article 4(1)(a) of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund Regulation (EC) No 1309/2013 and relates to 657 workers dismissed in Aleo Solar AG and its two subsidiaries Aleo Solar Dritte Produktion GmbH (Prenzlau) and Aleo Solar Deutschland GmbH (Oldenburg) which operated in the economic sector classified under NACE Rev. 2 division 26 ('Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products'); whereas the redundancies made by the enterprises concerned are located in the NUTS level 2 region of Brandenburg within the reference period between 7 March 2014 and 7 July 2014;

5. souligne que les licenciements concernés s'inscrivent dans le cadre d'un vaste plan de restructuration qui a réduit de 30 % la main d'œuvre de l'entreprise First Solar Manufacturing GmbH dans le but de diminuer fortement sa capacité de production globale et a débouché sur la fermeture des deux usines situées en Allemagne; souligne la valeur ajoutée du Fonds lorsqu'il s'agit de faire face aux licenciements causés par des détériorations soudaines du marché dues à la mondialisation;
5. Notes that the redundancies concerned are part of a broad restructuring plan which cut the global work force of First Solar Manufacturing GmbH by 30 % to sharply reduce its global production capacity and resulted in closing both sites located in Germany; stresses the added value of EGF in reacting to redundancies caused by unexpected market changes linked to globalisation;

3. souligne que les licenciements au sein de l'entreprise First Solar Manufacturing GmbH entraîneront une augmentation immédiate du taux de chômage de 4 points de pourcentage, alors que la zone concernée (Land de Brandebourg) pâtit déjà d'un taux de chômage supérieur à la moyenne (11,3 % contre une moyenne nationale de 7,4 % en février 2013);
3. Notes that the redundancies in First Solar Manufacturing GmbH led to an immediate increase of the rate of unemployment by 4 percentage points, while the area concerned (Land of Brandenburg) is already suffering from an above-average rate of unemployment (11,3 % compared with a national average of 7,4 % in February 2013);

Sur la base de l’exemption accordée par E-Control GmbH, les entreprises à forte intensité énergétique ont toutefois le droit de ne pas être approvisionnées en électricité verte, et la loi interdit aux distributeurs d’électricité de facturer aux entreprises exemptées les coûts résultant de leur propre obligation d’achat d’électricité verte vis-à-vis du centre de règlement.
On the basis of an exemption granted by E-Control, energy-intensive businesses are entitled to ask not to be supplied with green electricity, and the electricity suppliers are prohibited, by law, from passing on to the exempted undertakings any costs they incur as a result of their obligation to buy green electricity from the settlement centre.

D. considérant que l'Autriche a introduit la demande EGF/2011/010 AT/Austria Tabak en vue d'obtenir une contribution financière du Fonds à la suite des 320 licenciements intervenus dans l'entreprise Austria Tabak GmbH ainsi que chez 14 fournisseurs et producteurs en aval de ladite entreprise, 270 travailleurs étant visés par les mesures cofinancées au titre du Fonds, au cours de la période de référence de quatre mois comprise entre le 20 août 2011 et le 19 décembre 2011;
D. whereas Austria submitted application EGF/2011/010 AT/Austria Tabak for a financial contribution from the EGF, following 320 redundancies in Austria Tabak GmbH and in 14 suppliers and downstream producers with 270 workers targeted for EFG co-funded measures, during the four-month reference period from 20 August 2011 to 19 December 2011;
