par «système d’éclairage avant adaptatif», on entend un dispositif d’éclairage homologué conformément au règlement no 123 de la CEE-ONU, mentionné dans l’annexe I, qui émet des faisceaux possédant des caractéristiques différentes pour une adaptation automatique à des conditions variables d’utilisation du faisceau de croisement et, le cas échéant, du faisceau de route;
‘Adaptive front lighting system’ means a lighting device, type-approved in accordance with UNECE Regulation No. 123, as referenced in Annex I, providing beams with differing characteristics for automatic adaptation to varying conditions of use of the dipped-beam (passing-beam) and, if applicable, the main-beam (driving-beam).
