Qualitativement parlant, la FEMIP donnera d'abord la priorité aux projets du secteur privé, dans le double objectif de libéraliser les économies des pays euro-méditerranéens partenaires et de mobiliser leur potentiel en prévision de l'Union douanière qui devrait s'établir entre eux et l'UE dès 2010 ; la BEI vise à porter à 33 % la part des investissements du secteur privé dans le total des opérations financées.
In qualitative terms, the EMIPF will attach initial priority to private-sector projects with the dual aim of liberalising the economies of the MPC and harnessing their potential with the Customs Union in prospect between the EU and the MPC by 2010; the EIB's goal is to increase to 33% the share of private-sector ventures in relation to overall financing.
