It appears as though, despite perhaps what was initial tunnel vision after 9/11, the focus on large and well-organized international terrorist organizations has now broadened to include a variety of other manifestations of contemporary terrorism, which do not always follow that same pattern, even if we have not yet fully developed radicalization intervention programs or even a theory or stage theory of radicalization itself.
