IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Dans sa communication intitulée «Priorités en matière d'infrastructures énergétiques pour 2020 et au-delà — Schéma directeur pour un réseau énergétique européen intégré», qui a été suivie des conclusions du Conseil du 28 février 2011 et de la résolution du Parlement européen , la Commission a appelé à une nouvelle politique en matière d'infrastructures énergétiques pour optimiser le développement des réseaux à l'échelle européenne, jusqu'en 2020 et au-delà, afin de permettre à l'Union d'atteindre les objectifs fondamentaux de sa politique énergétique en matière de compétitivité, de durabilité et de sécurité de l'approvisionnement.

Le Conseil s’est félicité de l’objectif du Conseil européen de construire une Union de l’énergie visant une énergie abordable, sûr et durable, et soutient les travaux en cours pour parvenir à un marché intérieur de l’énergie de l’UE pleinement opérationnel et interconnecté, comme énoncé dans les conclusions du Conseil européen du 23 octobre. The Council welcomed the goal of the European Council to build an Energy Union aiming at affordable, secure and sustainable energy, and supports the work underway to achieve a fully functioning and interconnected internal EU energy market, as laid out in the conclusions of the European Council of 23 October.Reinforcing energy infrastructure, accelerating priority projects including electricity and gas interconnections, moderating energy demand through the more efficient use of energy, and tapping into indigenous resources, including renewable energy, will bring the benefit of greater energy security and more competitive energy prices to all Member States and neighbouring states in the Energy Community.
