tuant la Communauté européenne, considérant que l'évolution démographique rend la situation des travailleurs âgés, au regard de l'emploi, préoccupante dans la plupart des pays européens ; considérant que cette évolution aura des conséquences économiques et sociales importantes sur les dépenses consacrées à l'amélioration du fonctionnement du marché de l'
...[+++]emploi, du financement des pensions de retraite et de l'équilibre des pyramides des âges dans les entreprises ; considérant que gouvernements, partenaires sociaux et entreprises devraient anticiper sur cette évolution en insistant par exemple sur le travail à temps partiel, sur l'adaptation des conditions de travail et sur la formation professionnelle tout au long de la vie active ; considérant les actions déjà engagées par les Etats membres dans les présents domaines, notamment pour éliminer les éventuels obstacles à l'emploi des travailleurs âgés ; considérant que certaines pratiques de départ anticipé ont pu aboutir dans plusieurs Etats membres à une précarisation de la situation des travailleurs âgés indemnisés dans le cadre de régimes divers et évolutifs et ont entraîné une déperdition de savoir-faire dans les entreprises ; que la suppression des systèmes publics de préretraites ne permettrait pas d'endiguer les sorties de plus en plus précoces du marché du travail constatées dans certains Etats membres ; considérant que des formes progressives de cessation d'activité ont été mises en place dans de nombreux Etats membres ; qu'ainsi le passage au travail à temps partiel des travailleurs âgés peut être compensé par des embauches de personnes en difficulté sur le marché de l'emploi et de jeunes travailleurs ; considérant que ...ANNEX I RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL AND OF THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE MEMBER STATES, MEETING WITHIN THE COUNCIL, of ON THE EMPLOYMENT OF OLDER WORKERS
