J'ai fait tout ce qu'il m'était possible de faire pour le prouver: j'ai demandé une évaluation des objections des experts scientifiques français par le comité scientifique directeur de l'Union européenne, lequel a estimé à l'unanimité que les objections soulevées ne nécessitaient pas que soit modifié le régime d'exportation britannique; j'ai discuté avec les autorités françaises et britanniques de ce qu'il était encore possible de faire pour améliorer la protection et réduire le risque.
I have undertaken every effort to demonstrate that: I have asked an evaluation of the objections of the French scientists by the Scientific Steering Committee of the EU which unanimously agreed that the objections raised would not necessitate a change of the British export scheme, I have discussed with the French and the British authorities what could still possible be done to improve protection and reduce risk.
