Par «entreprise d’installation», on entend une entreprise capable de se charger de l’aspect technique de l’installation correcte et sûre d’un système d’adaptation au GPL ou au GNC homologué, conformément aux paragraphes 6.1.1.3 (pour le GPL) et 6.2.1.3 (pour le GNC) du présent règlement (7).
‘Installer’ means an organisation which can assume technical responsibility for the correct and safe installation of the approved LPG and CNG retrofit system, in conformity with respectively paragraphs 6.1.1.3 and 6.2.1.3 of this Regulation (7).

(25) En ce qui concerne l'installation et l'entretien des équipements de sécurité, dans la mesure où une telle harmonisation au niveau communautaire fait défaut, les accords entre assureurs prévoyant des spécifications techniques ou des procédures d'agrément appliquées dans un ou plusieurs États membres peuvent être exemptés par voie de règlement. L'exemption doit cependant être subordonnée à certaines conditions, en particulier à la condition que chaque entreprise d'assurance reste libre d'accepter, aux conditions qu'il lui sied, des équipements et des entreprises d'installation et d'entretien qui n'ont pas été agréés selon la procédure commune.
(25) As concerns the installation and maintenance of security devices, in so far as no such Community-level harmonisation exists, agreements between insurers laying down technical specifications or approval procedures that are used in one or several Member States can be exempted by regulation; however, the exemption should be subjected to certain conditions, in particular that each insurance undertaking must remain free to accept for insurance, on whatever terms and conditions it wishes, devices and installation and maintenance undertakings not approved jointly.
