IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Les dispositions du règlement (UE) no 472/2013 imposent à la Commission de publier, à titre d'information, deux listes d'instruments d’assistance financière: i) l'une concernant les instruments d'assistance financière de précaution, ii) l'autre, les instruments pour lesquels les règles du Mécanisme européen de stabilité (MES) ne prévoient pas un programme d'ajustement macroéconomique.
Certain provisions of Regulation (EU) No 472/2013 mandate that the Commission publish, for information purposes, two lists of financial assistance instruments: (i) those instruments which are of a precautionary nature and, separately, (ii) those instruments for which rules under the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) do not call for a macroeconomic adjustment programme.

Recognising that the premature shutdown and consequent decommissioning of the Ignalina nuclear power plant with two 1 500 MW RBMK type reactor units inherited from the Soviet Union is of an unprecedented nature and represents for Lithuania an exceptional financial burden not commensurate with the size and economic strength of the country, Protocol No 4 states that the Union assistance under the Ignalina programme will be seamlessly continued and extended beyond 2006, for the period of next financial perspectives.
