Ma présentation porte sur les points suivants: premièrement, l'occultation de la violence conjugale par le droit familial; les attitudes condescendantes et paternalistes des professionnels de la cour, attitudes teintées de préjugés ethniques et raciaux; les évaluations psychologiques; enfin, les alibis utilisés contre les mères par les pères.
My presentation concerns the following points: first, the concealing of spousal abuse by family law; the condescending and paternalistic attitudes of court professionals, attitudes that are tinged with ethnic and racial prejudice; psychological assessments, and, lastly, the arguments used by fathers against mothers.
