Ex-post evaluations for 1994-99 concerning Objectives 5(a) and 5(b) and Leader II: The Member States and regions presented a large number of evaluation studies for the measures supported from the Structural Funds in 1994-99 regarding the setting-up of young farmers, less favoured areas, investment in agricultural holdings, processing and marketing of agricultural products, Objective 5(b) programmes and the Leader II Community Initiative. These studies were carried out at national level using guidelines issued by the Commission, which meanwhile initiated the process of synthesising this information in order to draw conclusions at Community level.

Cette dernière a reçu au total 17 rapports d'évaluation ex post dans le cadre du règlement 950/97 (mesures relevant de l'objectif 5a en vue de l'amélioration de l'efficacité des structures de l'agriculture), 12 rapports dans le cadre du règlement 951/97 (mesures relevant de l'objectif 5a en vue de l'amélioration des conditions de transformation et de commercialisation des produits agricoles), 52 rapports concernant les mesures relevant de l'objectif 5b et 82 rapports relatifs à l'initiative communautaire Leader II. Quelques rapports étaient encore attendus en 2003.
In all, the Commission received seventeen ex-post evaluation reports for Regulation (EC) No 950/97 (Measures for improving the efficiency of agricultural structures, under Objective 5a), twelve reports for Regulation (EC) No 951/97 (Improving the processing and marketing of agricultural products, under Objective 5a), fifty-two reports for Objective 5b measures, and eighty-two reports for the Leader II Community Initiative. Some reports were still awaited in 2003.
