C’est donc, tout d’abord, un grand merci que je voudrais exprimer au nom de tous ceux d’entre nous qui étaient déjà là pendant la précédente législature et, je l’espère, au nom de tous ceux qui vont aujourd’hui s’intéresser aux travaux et à la contribution de la Banque européenne d’investissement à l’application de la politique européenne. Un grand bravo, un grand merci également aux dirigeants de la BEI avec qui nous avons maintenu ce dialogue.
I would therefore like to begin by expressing the heartfelt gratitude of all of us who were already present during the last legislative period and, I hope, of all who will now be taking an interest in the European Investment Bank’s work and its contribution to the implementation of European policy.
