The link established by the Union between Maltese accession and the conduct of the ICG has led to agree that Malta will be regularly briefed on the progress of the discussions at the Conference and Malta will be able to express its point of view at meetings with the Presidency to be held in principle every two months. 3. The two parties also outlined the importance for the mediterranean region of the process launched by the Euro-Mediterranean Conference in Barcelona which inaugurated the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. 4.
