Même si je sais qu'elle repose en grande partie entre les mains des États membres, l'Union européenne doit en même temps se rappeler ses propres engagements, la stratégie de Lisbonne par exemple, et elle doit s'y tenir, pour que nous puissions acheminer l'argent du budget vers la recherche et l'innovation, en créant une nouvelle valeur ajoutée pour l'Europe.
Although I know that this is largely in the hands of the Member States, all the same, the European Union needs to remember its own commitments, the Lisbon Strategy, for example, and it has to keep to them, so that we can channel budget money into research and innovation, creating new added value for Europe.
