(11) La directive 85/337/CEE du Conseil du 27 juin 1985 concernant l'évaluation des incidences de certains projets publics et privés sur l'environnement(5) et la directive 96/61/CE du Conseil du 24 septembre 1996 relative à la prévention et à la réduction intégrées de la pollution(6) devraient être modifiées afin d'être rendues parfaitement compatibles avec les dispositions de la convention d'Aarhus, et notamment avec son article 6 et son article 9, paragraphes 2 et 4.
(11) Council Directive 85/337/EEC of 27 June 1985 on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment(5), and Council Directive 96/61/EC of 24 September 1996 concerning integrated pollution prevention and control(6) should be amended to ensure that they are fully compatible with the provisions of the Århus Convention, in particular Article 6 and Article 9(2) and (4) thereof.
