2. Le Conseil rappelle l'excellent esprit de coopération qui, dans le cadre de l'accord interinstitutionnel du 6 mai 1999, a présidé aux travaux sur la préparation des budgets des exercices antérieurs et se dit convaincu de l'importance que revêt la poursuite de cette bonne coopération entre les deux branches de l'autorité budgétaire et la Commission.
2. The Council recalls the excellent spirit of cooperation, in the framework of the Interinstitutional Agreement of 6 May 1999, that governed work on the preparation of the budgets of the previous financial years and is convinced of the importance of continuing the good collaboration between the two arms of the budgetary authority and the Commission.
