Le Royaume-Uni participe au présent [acte], conformément à l’article 5, paragraphe 1, du protocole n° 19 sur l’acquis de Schengen intégré dans le cadre de l’Union européenne, annexé au traité sur l'Union européenne et au traité sur le fonctionnement de l'Union européenne, et conformément à l’article 8, paragraphe 2, de la décision 2000/365/CE du Conseil du 29 mai 2000 relative à la demande du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord de participer à certaines dispositions de l’acquis de Schengen*.
The United Kingdom is taking part in this [INSTRUMENT], in accordance with Article 5(1) of Protocol No 19 on the Schengen acquis integrated into the framework of the European Union, annexed to the Treaty on European Union and to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and Article 8(2) of Council Decision 2000/365/EC of 29 May 2000 concerning the request of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to take part in some of the provisions of the Schengen acquis*.

(k) Whenever under (c) above the Fund sells gold acquired by it after the date of the second amendment of this Agreement, an amount of the proceeds equivalent to the acquisition price of the gold shall be placed in the General Resources Account, and any excess shall be placed in the Investment Account for use pursuant to the provisions of Article XII, Section 6(f). If any gold acquired by the Fund after the date of the second amendment of this Agreement is sold after April 7, 2008 but prior to the date of entry into force of this provision, then, upon the entry into force of this provision, and notwithstanding the limit set forth in Article XII, Section 6(f)(ii), the Fund shall transfer to the Investment Account from the General Resources Account an amount equal to the proceeds of such sale less

(9) This Regulation constitutes a development of the Schengen acquis, in accordance with the Protocol integrating the Schengen acquis into the framework of the European Union, as defined in Annex A to Council Decision 1999/435/EC of 20 May 1999 concerning the definition of the Schengen acquis for the purpose of determining, in conformity with the relevant provisions of the Treaty establishing the European Community and the Treaty on European Union, the legal basis for each of the provisions or decisions which constitute the acquis.

(14) Les ressortissants de pays tiers en possession d'un document de voyage en cours de validité et d'un permis unique délivré par un État membre appliquant intégralement l'acquis de Schengen devraient être autorisés à entrer et à se déplacer librement sur le territoire des États membres appliquant intégralement l'acquis de Schengen pour une période n'excédant pas trois mois, conformément au règlement (CE) n° 562/2006 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 15 mars 2006 établissant un code communautaire relatif au régime de franchissement des frontières par les personnes (code frontières Schengen) et conformément à l'article 21 de l'acquis de Schengen – convention d'application de l'accord de Schengen du 14 juin 1985 entre les gouvernements des États de l'Union économique Benelux, de la République fédérale d'Allemagne et de la République française relatif à la suppression graduelle des contrôles aux frontières communes (convention d'application de l'accord de Schengen) .
(14) Third-country nationals who are in possession of a valid travel document and a single permit issued by a Member State applying the Schengen acquis in full, should be allowed to enter into and move freely within the territory of the Member States applying the Schengen acquis in full, for a period up to three months in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 562/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2006 establishing a Community Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code) and Article 21 of the The Schengen acquis - Convention implementing the Schengen Agreement of 14 June 1985 between the Governments of the States of the Benelux Economic Union, the Federal Republic of Germany and the French Republic on the gradual abolition of checks at their common borders (Schengen Implementing Convention) .
