Condition à remplir: il faut éviter les confusions avec les dénominations d'autres médicaments existants ou avec la DCI (dénomination commune internationale); lorsqu'il s'agit d'une dénomination commune, le changement doit être effectué dans l'ordre suivant: de la dénomination commune vers la dénomination de la pharmacopée ou vers celle de la DCI.
Condition to be fulfilled: confusion with names of other existing medicinal products or INN (International Non-proprietary Name) name must be avoided; when the name is a common name, the change has to be made in the following order: from common name to pharmacopoeial name or to INN.
