(14) L'entreprise commune aura pour principale tâche de mener rapidement à bien le développement du programme GALILEO pendant sa phase de développement par l'association du savoir-faire, de l'information et des fonds de l'UE, de l'ASE et de l'industrie, en garantissant la participation des secteurs public et privé et en tenant compte de l'importance de la contribution du secteur privé à cette phase ; en outre, elle permettra d'assurer la gestion d'importants projets de démonstration.
(14) The Joint Undertaking's main task will be to speedily and successfully complete the development of the Galileo programme during its development phase by combining the expertise, information and funding of the EU, ESA and industry, ensuring the involvement of the public and private sectors and recognising the importance of the private sector's input into this stage; in addition, it will make it possible to ensure the management of major demonstration projects.
