At the Trillium Foundation we checked three references, looking at how they've managed money before and what their relationship had been with other funders.

Après plusieurs années de l'application de la Loi sur les jeunes contrevenants, un juge a été mandaté par le gouvernement du Québec pour faire enquête et vérifier comment on appliquait la Loi sur les jeunes contrevenants, pour voir s'il y avait des choses à améliorer dans son application quotidienne, voir si le gouvernement pourrait appuyer et seconder davantage les organismes juridiques qui appliquent quotidiennement cette loi et voir si on pouvait l'améliorer et aider ces organismes.
After several years of application of the Young Offenders Act, a judge was mandated by the Government of Quebec to investigate how the legislation was being implemented, whether there was room for improvement in its day to day application. This made it possible to see whether the government could provide more support, more backing, to the agencies applying that act daily, and whether the legislation could be improved in order to help them more.
