Madame le leader du gouvernement au Sénat peut-elle nous dire si le gouvernement du Canada est bien au courant de la situation, si cette situation a fait l'objet de discussions avec des représentants du gouvernement du Manitoba, si le gouvernement du Canada prendra l'initiative de chercher des solutions à ce problème crucial et, dois-je ajouter, s'il incitera à l'action les gouvernements provinciaux, qui semblent considérer cette question avec complaisance?
Can the Leader of the Government in the Senate tell us whether the Government of Canada has taken note of this situation, whether there have been talks with the Manitoba government officials on this matter, whether the Government of Canada will take the initiative in solving this crucial problem, and, I must add, prod seemingly complacent provincial governments into action?
