IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

Conformément au droit de l'Union, les États membres doivent prendre les mesures nécessaires pour éliminer les incompatibilités entre leurs accords bilatéraux et l'accord.
In accordance with Union law, Member States have to take the necessary measures to eliminate the incompatibilities between their bilateral agreements and the Agreement.

L’autorisation de modifier ou de conclure des accords bilatéraux d’investissement, prévue par le présent règlement, devrait permettre notamment aux États membres de remédier aux éventuelles incompatibilités existant entre leurs accords bilatéraux d’investissement et le droit de l’Union, autres que les incompatibilités découlant de la répartition des compétences entre l’Union et ses États membres, qui sont réglées par le présent règlement.
The authorisation to amend or conclude bilateral investment agreements provided for by this Regulation should notably allow Member States to address any incompatibilities between their bilateral investment agreements and Union law, other than incompatibilities arising from the allocation of competences between the Union and its Member States, which are addressed in this Regulation.

Urges the EU to strengthen its economic, budgetary, fiscal and political governance to give it a credible and weighty voice on the international stage; calls on the Council and the Commission to speak with one voice in order to prevent partnerships and bilateral agreements weakening the EU position; urges the Commission to cooperate closely with Member states when defining their commercial policies and their policies towards China; demands that the EU implements a long-term strategy with regard to China, ensuring the operational coordination both between the EU institutions and between the EU and the Member States;

Aucune disposition du présent accord ne déroge aux obligations actuelles des États-Unis et des États membres de l'UE, comprenant notamment l'accord du 25 juin 2003 entre l'Union européenne et les États-Unis en matière d'entraide judiciaire et les instruments bilatéraux connexes conclus dans le domaine de l'entraide judiciaire entre les États-Unis et les États membres de l'UE.
2. Nothing in this Agreement shall derogate from existing obligations of the United States and EU Member States, including under the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance between the European Union and the United States of 25 June 2003 and the related bilateral mutual legal assistance instruments between the United States and EU Member States.

CONSTATANT que l’Union n’a pas pour objectif, dans le cadre de cet accord, d’augmenter le volume total du trafic aérien entre l’Union et le Cap-Vert, de compromettre l’équilibre entre les transporteurs aériens de l’Union, d’une part, et du Cap-Vert, d’autre part, ou de négocier des amendements aux dispositions des accords bilatéraux existants en matière de services aériens en ce qui concerne les droits de trafic,
NOTING that it is not a purpose of the Union, as part of this Agreement, to increase the total volume of air traffic between the Union and Cape Verde, to affect the balance between Union air carriers and air carriers of Cape Verde, or to negotiate amendments to the provisions of existing bilateral air service agreements concerning traffic rights.

RECONNAISSANT que certaines dispositions des accords bilatéraux relatifs aux services aériens conclus entre les États membres de l’Union et le Cap-Vert, qui sont contraires au droit de l’Union, doivent être mises en conformité avec ce dernier de manière à établir une base juridique saine en ce qui concerne les services aériens entre l’Union et le Cap-Vert et à préserver la continuité de ces services aériens;
RECOGNISING that certain provisions of the bilateral air service agreements between Member States of the Union and Cape Verde, which are contrary to the law of the Union, must be brought into conformity with it in order to establish a sound legal basis for air services between the Union and Cape Verde and to preserve the continuity of such air services,

se félicite de la finalisation des négociations sur l'accord de réadmission entre l'Union européenne et la Turquie et invite le gouvernement turc, dans l'attente de l'entrée en vigueur de cet accord, à veiller à la mise en œuvre intégrale des accords bilatéraux existants; souligne l'importance d'intensifier la coopération entre l'Union et la Turquie en matière de gestion des migrations et de contrôles aux frontières, compte tenu notamment du nombre élevé d'immigrés clandestins qui entrent sur le territoire de l'Union par la Turquie; se félicite de la consultation de la société civile sur trois projets de lois en matière d'asile et invite instamment le gouvernement à soumettre dans les meilleurs délais ces projets de lois au parlement; estime qu'il conviendra, une fois l'accord de réadmission entré en vigueur, que le Conseil charge la Commission d'engager le dialogue sur la question des visas, en s'attachant particulièrement aux conditions d'entrée des hommes et femmes d'affaires et des étudiants qui se rendent dans l'Union, mesure indispensable pour la mobilité;
Welcomes the finalisation of the negotiations on the EU-Turkey readmission agreement and calls on the Turkish Government to ensure that, until this agreement enters into force, existing bilateral agreements are fully implemented; underlines the importance of intensifying cooperation between the EU and Turkey on migration management and border controls, inter alia given the large percentage of illegal immigrants entering EU territory via Turkey; welcomes the consultation with civil society on three draft laws in the field of asylum and urges the Government to bring the laws before Parliament without delay; takes the view that, once the readmission agreement enters into force, the Council should mandate the Commission to initiate a visa dialogue, with particular attention to the matter of entry conditions for businesspeople and students travelling to the EU, as a necessary step in relation to mobility;

Aucune disposition du présent accord ne déroge aux obligations actuelles des États-Unis et des États membres au titre de l’accord du 25 juin 2003 entre l’Union européenne et les États-Unis d’Amérique en matière d’entraide judiciaire et au titre des instruments bilatéraux connexes conclus dans le domaine de l’entraide judiciaire entre les États-Unis et les États membres.

Nothing in this Agreement shall derogate from existing obligations of the United States and Member States under the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance between the European Union and the United States of America of 25 June 2003 and the related bilateral mutual legal assistance instruments between the United States and Member States.

L’article 3, paragraphe 2, des accords prévoit l’échange d’instruments écrits concernant l’application des traités bilatéraux entre les États-Unis et les États membres de l’Union.
The Agreements provide in their Article 3(2) that written instruments be exchanged between the USA and the Member States of the Union on the application of bilateral treaties.
