(2) Lorsque le ministre ordonne qu’une audience publique soit tenue au sujet d’une ou plusieurs oppositions, il demande immédiatement au procureur général du Canada de nommer un enquêteur pour tenir cette audience et le procureur général du Canada doit, dès lors, nommer à titre d’enquêteur en l’occurrence une personne compétente qui n’est pas employée dans la fonction publique au sens du paragraphe 3(1) de la Loi sur la pension de la fonction publique.
(2) Where the Minister orders that a public hearing be conducted with respect to an objection or objections, the Minister shall immediately request the Attorney General of Canada to appoint a hearing officer to conduct the hearing and the Attorney General of Canada shall thereupon appoint a suitable person, who is not a person employed in the public service as defined in subsection 3(1) of the Public Service Superannuation Act, to be a hearing officer for that purpose.

10 (1) Forthwith after the expiration of the period of thirty days referred to in section 9, the Minister shall, if the Minister has been served with an objection under that section, order that a public hearing be conducted with respect to the objection and any other objection to the intended expropriation that has been or may be served on the Minister.

13. Si le ministre, après avoir reçu et examiné le rapport de l’enquêteur nommé pour tenir une audience publique relativement à une opposition signifiée en vertu de l’article 9, a confirmé, conformément à l’article 14, l’intention d’exproprier un droit réel immobilier ou intérêt foncier ou un droit ou intérêt plus restreint afférent au bien-fonds, il doit, à la demande écrite de la personne ayant signifié l’opposition, lui fournir une copie du rapport de l’enquêteur et, dans le cas où l’opposition n’a pas été retenue, un énoncé des motifs de son rejet.
13. If the Minister, after receiving and considering a report of a hearing officer appointed to conduct a public hearing with respect to an objection served on the Minister by any person under section 9, has confirmed an intention to expropriate an interest in land or immovable real right, or a more limited interest or right in it, in the manner provided in section 14, the Minister shall, at the written request of the person who served the objection, provide that person with a copy of the report of the hearing officer and, if effect was not given to the objection, a statement of the reasons that the Minister had for not giving it effect.
