Monsieur le Président, je prends la parole afin de présenter une pétition au nom d'un certain nombre d'habitants de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador et d'autres endroits du Canada atlantique. Les pétitionnaires exhortent le gouvernement à revenir sur sa décision visant à fermer le centre de coordination des opérations de sauvetage maritime de St. John's, à Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.
Mr. Speaker, I rise to present a petition on behalf of a number of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians and also residents of other parts of Atlantic Canada calling on the government to reverse its decision to close the marine rescue coordinating centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
