La présente communication vise à répondre à la demande faite à la Commission "d'élaborer dans les meilleurs délais une proposition visant à créer, pour les autorités judiciaires, à partir des structures existantes, un réseau européen efficace de formation dans les matières tant pénales que civiles, comme envisagé aux articles III-269 et III-270 du traité constitutionnel » et reprise dans le Plan d'action visant à mettre en œuvre le programme de La Haye[4].
This communication is in response to the request that the Commission “prepare as soon as possible a proposal aimed at creating, from the existing structures, an effective European training network for judicial authorities for both civil and criminal matters, as envisaged by Articles III-269 and III-270 of the Constitutional Treaty”, included in the Action Plan to implement the Hague programme[4].

À leur niveau respectif, les points de contact participent à l’organisation des sessions de formation sur la coopération judiciaire à l’intention des autorités compétentes de leur État membre, le cas échéant en coopération avec le Réseau européen judiciaire de formation, et promeuvent cette organisation.
3. At their respective level the contact points shall be involved in and promote the organisation of training sessions on judicial cooperation for the benefit of the competent authorities of their Member State, where appropriate in cooperation with the European Judicial Training Network.
