Italie: en avril 2010, le gouvernement a adopté une recommandation proposant de mettre en œuvre le SBA en Italie et a institué un groupe de travail permanent réunissant les ministères, les chambres de commerce, les organisations d’entreprises, les régions et un membre italien du Comité économique et social européen afin de suivre la mise en œuvre du SBA et de proposer des initiatives dans ce cadre.
Italy: In April 2010, the government adopted a recommendation to implement the SBA in Italy and set up a permanent working group gathering Ministries, Chambers, Business Organisations, Regions and an Italian member of the European Economic and Social Committee to monitor the implementation of the SBA and propose initiatives in this context.

The Committee welcomed the general findings and recommendations of the report raising, inter alia, the following main points: a) the TEN-Telecom programme should make connections to the e-Europe initiative and co-ordinate its activities with other programmes, such as IST, INFO2000 and e-Content; b) the trans-European dimension of the projects should be further clarified and reinforced; c) more emphasis should be given to the business planning process of the projects; d) the innovative nature of the services should be prioritised; e) activities focusing on trust in technology and confidentiality should be carried out; f) neutrality to technology should be maintained and emphasised; g) contract negotiations should be speeded up; h) relations with national contact points should be developed further.

18. réaffirme sa position en faveur d'une initiative européenne destinée à veiller à ce que les droits fondamentaux des personnes privées de leur liberté soient garantis et à ce que la détention permette néanmoins la réinsertion des détenus dans la société; s'inquiète du niveau désastreux de la surpopulation carcérale qui touche un grand nombre d'États membres, des mauvaises conditions d'emprisonnement et de traitement des détenus et demande le lancement d'une initiative européenne pour garantir l'application des recommandations du Comité européen contre la torture et des arrêts de la Cour européenne des droits de l'homme, y compris dans les commissariats de police, les centres d'accueil pour immigrés et les hôpitaux psychiatriques; recommande que des mesures soient prises pour diminuer la surpopulation carcérale, comme éviter l'usage excessif de la détention préventive, prévoir des peines alternatives à la prison, envisager la dépénalisation de certains actes et/ou diminuer les seuils de détention provisoire;
18. Reiterates its support for a European initiative to ensure that the fundamental rights of persons deprived of their freedom are upheld and that persons who are imprisoned can be reintegrated into society upon their release; expresses concern at the disastrous level of prison overcrowding in many Member States, and at bad prison conditions and treatment of inmates, and calls for a European initiative to be launched to ensure that the recommendations of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights are implemented, including by the police and in immigration centres and psychiatric hospitals; recommends that measures be taken to reduce prison overcrowding, such as avoiding excessive use of pre-trial detention, providing alternatives to custodial sentences, considering the decriminalisation of certain offences and/or shortening the periods for which people can be held without charge;

13. rappelle que l'audit interne sur les transferts de salaires, qui a été achevé en 2006 et qui comportait un examen approfondi de tous les transferts existants, a mis au jour "des insuffisances en ce qui concerne le principe de séparation des fonctions dans ce domaine (fonctions d'initiation et vérification interne)" et a révélé qu''une priorité accrue aurait dû être accordée à l'environnement de contrôle compte tenu des risques y afférents"; observe en outre qu'un suivi des recommandations de l'auditeur interne a été fait en février 2007, qu'un second suivi a eu lieu en 2008 et qu'il a été constaté que 16 des 20 recommandations ont été pleinement mises en œuvre; invite instamment l'administration du Comité des régions à garantir la mise en œuvre pleine et entière de toutes les recommandations formulées par l'auditeur;
13. Recalls that the internal audit on salary transfers, which was completed in 2006 and which included an in-depth review of all existing transfers, revealed that "[w]eaknesses existed concerning the principle of separation of functions in this area (initiating functions and internal verification) and the control environment should have been given greater priority in view of the risks concerned"; further notes that a follow-up to the Internal Auditor's recommendations was carried out in February 2007 and a second follow-up took place in 2008, and that it was found that 16 out of 20 recommendations have been fully implemented; urges the CoR's administration to ensure the full implementation of all audit recommendations;
