Notes that Protocol 6, annexed to the Treaties, on the location of the seats of the institutions, decided by common agreement of the governments of the Member States, imposes on Parliament its three working places; notes the call expressed in its resolution of 17 April 2013 on the 2011 discharge for ‘the Secretary-General and the Bureau to provide Members with up-to-date figures and information on the financial and environmental impact of the multiple seat arrangement’ that followed Parliament’s resolution of 6 February 2013 on the guidelines for the 2014 budget procedure and the report on the location of the seats of the European Institutions adopted on 20 November 2013;

A. considérant que l'article 341 du traité sur le fonctionnement de l'Union européenne établit que les sièges des institutions de l'Union sont fixés du commun accord des gouvernements des États membres;

– having regard to Protocol 6, annexed to the Treaties, on the location of the seats of the institutions and of certain bodies, offices, agencies and departments of the European Union,

I. considérant que l'article 341 du traité FUE et le protocole n° 6 annexé aux traités disposent que le siège des institutions de l'Union est fixé à l'unanimité par les États membres, que le Parlement a son siège à Strasbourg, où se tiennent les douze périodes de sessions plénières mensuelles, y compris la session budgétaire, que les périodes de sessions plénières additionnelles se tiennent à Bruxelles, que les commissions du Parlement européen siègent à Bruxelles et que le secrétariat général du Parlement européen et ses services restent installés à Luxembourg;
I. whereas Article 341 TFEU and Protocol No 6 to the Treaties establish that the seat of the institutions of the Union shall be determined by common accord of the governments of the Member States, that Parliament shall have its seat in Strasbourg where the 12 periods of monthly plenary sessions, including the budget session, shall be held, that the periods of additional plenary sessions shall be held in Brussels, that its committees shall meet in Brussels and that its General Secretariat and its departments shall remain in Luxembourg;

À titre dérogatoire, elle peut être payée en euros dans une banque du pays du siège de l’institution ou en devises dans le pays de résidence, par conversion sur la base des taux de change les plus récents utilisés pour l’exécution du budget général des Communautés européennes».
The pension may by way of exception be paid in euro into a bank in the country where the institution has its headquarters, or in foreign currency in the country of residence of the pensioner, converted at the most up-to-date exchange rates used for the implementation of the general budget of the European Communities’.

( B ) HAVE REGULAR TRANSFERS MADE IN EXCESS OF THE MAXIMUM STATED AT THE BEGINNING OF PARAGRAPH ( A ) PROVIDED THAT THEY ARE INTENDED TO COVER EXPENDITURE ARISING IN PARTICULAR OUT OF COMMITMENTS PROVED TO HAVE BEEN REGULARLY UNDERTAKEN BY THE OFFICIAL OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY WHERE THE INSTITUTION HAS ITS SEAT OR OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY WHERE HE CARRIES OUT HIS DUTIES ;

- SOIT DANS LA MONNAIE DU PAYS DE SON AFFECTATION PRECEDENTE OU DU PAYS DU SIEGE DE SON INSTITUTION , A CONDITION QU ' IL S ' AGISSE D ' UN FONCTIONNAIRE AFFECTE EN DEHORS DU TERRITOIRE DES COMMUNAUTES ;
