La Commission européenne, à l'initiative de M. Manuel MARIN, Vice- Président responsable de la coopération et de l'aide humanitaire, a décidé hier soir d'engager 1 million d'ECU (1,22 millions de dollars USA) en aide humanitaire pour l'achat de 175.000 rations alimentaires, représentant la participation communautaire à l'opération de parachutage de vivres en Bosnie-Herzégovine mise en oeuvre par les Etats-Unis.
The European Commission, on the initiative of Mr Manuel MARIN, Vice- President responsible for cooperation and humanitarian aid, decided last night to commit 1 million ECU (1.22 million USD) in humanitarian aid (175,000 food parcels) as the European Community's contribution to the parachuting of food aid into Bosnia-Herzegovina undertaken by the United States.
