TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

L'UE devrait poursuivre sa collaboration étroite avec le Secrétaire général des Nations unies sur les problèmes de sécurité alimentaire et intensifier son dialogue avec les agences des Nations unies installées à Rome, en encourageant une coordination plus étroite entre elles et, si nécessaire, en réorientant leurs mandats et leurs activités sur leurs avantages comparatifs: la FAO principalement sur la connaissance et le conseil politique, le PAM sur les investissements durables à long terme et le FIDA sur les situations d'urgence et la fragilité.
The EU should continue its close collaboration with the UN Secretary General on food security issues and strengthen its dialogue with the Rome-based agencies, supporting closer coordination between them and, where necessary, the re-focusing of their mandates and activities on their comparative advantages; FAO mainly on knowledge and policy advice, IFAD on long-term sustainable investment and WFP on situations of emergency and fragility.

Regulation (EU) No 912/2010 should be aligned with the principles contained in the common approach of the European Parliament, the Council and of the Commission to the decentralised agencies, adopted by the three institutions on 5 July, 26 June and 12 June 2012 respectively, particularly with regard to the rules for adopting decisions of the Administrative Board, the terms of office of the members of the Administrative Board and of the Security Accreditation Board and those of their chairpersons, the existence of a multiannual work programme, the powers of the Administrative Board concerning staff management, assessment and revision of that Regulation, prevention and management of conflicts of interest and handling of non-classified but sensitive information.

On 20 December 2010, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which the undertakings PAI Partners SAS (‘PAI’, France) and Gecos — Generale di Commercio e Servizi SpA (‘Gecos’, Italy), the parent company of PAM Group, acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation joint control of the undertaking The Nuance Group AG (‘Nuance’, Switzerland) by way of purchase of shares.
