TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

Comme il en est fait état dans le programme d’action relatif à l’immigration légale, et conformément aux objectifs de la stratégie européenne pour l’emploi, l’UE a décidé d’adopter pour les années à venir une approche à deux volets consistant à faciliter l’admission de certaines catégories d’immigrants en fonction des besoins (par exemple, travailleurs hautement qualifiés et travailleurs saisonniers) sans porter préjudice à l'application du principe de la préférence communautaire et à conférer à tous les travailleurs immigrés en situation régulière un statut juridique sûr qui leur soit en outre commun.
As stated in the Policy Plan on Legal Migration, and in line with aims of the European Employment Strategy, the EU is taking a two-track approach for the next years: facilitate the admission of certain categories of immigrants on a needs-based approach (e.g. highly skilled and seasonal workers) without prejudice to the application of the Community preference principle and provide a common secure legal status to all legal immigrant workers.

Ce premier rapport annuel brosse un tableau des tendances migratoires en Europe, aborde et analyse les changements survenus dans l'immigration et décrit les actions qui sont prises au niveau national et européen en matière d'admission et d'intégration.
The first annual report gives an overview of migration trends in Europe, analyses and discusses the changes in immigration and describes actions taken regarding the admission and integration of immigrants at national and European level.

30. Le 30 juin 2006, la Commission a présenté le deuxième rapport annuel sur l ’ immigration et l ’ intégration[10] , lequel fournit une vue d’ensemble des tendances migratoires dans l’Union européenne en procédant à l’analyse des évolutions ainsi qu’à la description des mesures prises en matière d’admission et d’intégration des migrants aux niveaux national et européen au cours de l’année civile 2004.
30. On 30th June 2006 the Commission presented the Second Annual Report on Migration and Integration[10] which provides an overview of migration trends in the European Union, analysing the changes and describing actions taken regarding the admission and integration of immigrants at national and EU level in the calendar year 2004.

Il s’agira en particulier a) de mettre en place une plateforme pour l’intégration dans le cadre de laquelle les partenaires concernés pourront procéder à des échanges de vue réguliers, b) de consolider le rôle des autorités locales en s’appuyant sur la réussite de la conférence de Rotterdam des 9 et 10 octobre , et c) de créer un site web sur l’intégration et de publier de nouvelles éditions du manuel sur l’intégration ainsi que du rapport annuel sur l’immigration et l’intégration.
These will include a) the establishment of an integration platform where relevant partners can exchange views on a regular basis; b) the consolidation of the role played by local authorities building on the successful 'Integrating cities: European policies, local practices' conference held in Rotterdam on 9-10 October; and c) the creation of an Integration website and new editions of the Integration Handbook and the Annual report on migration and integration.

Il convient donc que les États membres transmettent annuellement des données relatives aux professions, à l'âge, au sexe et aux nationalités des immigrants hautement qualifiés dont ils autorisent l'admission, par l'intermédiaire du réseau créé à cet effet par la décision 2006/688/CE Conseil du 5 octobre 2006 relative à l'établissement d'un mécanisme d'information mutuelle sur les mesures des États membres dans les domaines de l'asile et de l'immigration.
Data on the professions, age, gender and the nationality of highly qualified immigrants admitted by Member States should therefore be transmitted annually by Member States through the network created for these purposes by Council Decision 2006/688/EC of 5 October 2006 on the establishment of a mutual information mechanism concerning Member States' measures in the areas of asylum and immigration.
