The cooperative decision-making between national frequency managers and the Network Manager shall be based on arrangements subject to approval by the Network Management Board, in accordance with Article 16 of this Regulation, after a positive opinion of the Single Sky Committee in accordance with Article 5(2) of Regulation (EC) No 549/2004.

According to Article 2.3 of the Legislative Decree n. 143 of 31 March 1998 (7) which restated the guarantee applicable to SACE as per Law n. 227 of 24 May 1977, the operations and insurable risks, including, amongst others, the geographical coverage, are to be defined by the Inter-ministerial Committee for the Economic Programming (Comitato Interministeriale per la Programmazione Economica, ‘CIPE’).

Conformément à l’article 16, paragraphe 2, point c), de l’accord SPS UE-Chili, le comité de gestion conjoint pour les questions sanitaires et phytosanitaires (ci-après dénommé «comité de gestion conjoint»), institué par l’article 89, paragraphe 3, de l’accord d’association, est habilité à modifier par voie de décision les appendices I à XII de l’accord SPS UE-Chili.
Pursuant to point (c) of Article 16(2) of the EU-Chile SPS Agreement, the Joint Management Committee for Sanitary and Phytosanitary matters (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Joint Management Committee’), established by Article 89(3) of the Association Agreement, is empowered to modify, by means of a decision, Appendices I to XII to the EU-Chile SPS Agreement.

After informing the committee referred to in Article 16(1) or, where necessary, the committee set up by Article 14(1) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91 of 24 June 1991 on organic production of agricultural products and indications referring thereto on agricultural products and foodstuffs , the Standing Committee on Protected Geographical Indications and Protected Designations of Origin set up by Article 15(1) of Council Regulation (EC) No 510/2006 of 20 March 2006 on the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for agricultural products and foodstuffs or the Standing Committee on Traditional Specialities Guaranteed set up by Article 18(1) of Council Regulation (EC) No 509/2006 of 20 March 2006 on agricultural products and foodstuffs as traditional specialities guaranteed , the Commission may decide to carry out one or more of the following measures:

1. La Commission, dans l'exercice des tâches prévues à l'article 16, paragraphe 2, à l'article 17, paragraphe 2, à l'article 19, paragraphe 1, et à l'article 20, deuxième alinéa, est assistée par un comité à caractère consultatif composé de représentants des États membres et présidé par le représentant de la Commission, ci-après dénommé «le comité».

In performing the tasks laid down in Articles 16(2), 17(2), 19(1) and Article 20(2) the Commission shall be assisted by a Committee of an advisory nature composed of representatives of the Member States and chaired by a representative of the Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Committee).

3. Pour les questions dont le comité permanent est saisi conformément à l'article 10, à l'article 11, paragraphe 4, à l'article 16, à l'article 27, paragraphe 1, point a), et paragraphe 2, et à l'article 32, les articles 5 et 7 de la décision 1999/468/CE s'appliquent, dans le respect des dispositions de l'article 8 de celle-ci.
3. For matters referred to the Standing Committee by virtue of Articles 10, 11(4), 16, 27(1)(a) and (2), and 32, Articles 5 and 7 of Decision 1999/468/EC shall apply, having regard to the provisions of Article 8 thereof.

Sans préjudice des dispositions des articles 12, 13, 14 et 16, le comité visé à l'article 16 peut convenir d'un mécanisme visant à faciliter la correspondance, l'échange d'informations et de documents, ainsi que les procédures et le mode de fonctionnement du comité.
Without prejudice of the provisions of Articles 12, 13, 14 and 16, the Committee referred to in Article 16 may agree on an arrangement to facilitate correspondence, exchange of information and associated documents and procedures and operation of the Committee.

2. Sans préjudice des dispositions du paragraphe 1 du présent article et par notification écrite adressée au président, tout membre exportateur ou tout membre importateur qui n'est pas membre du comité exécutif et qui n'a pas porté ses voix, conformément au paragraphe 2 de l'article 16, sur l'un quelconque des membres élus peut autoriser tout membre exportateur ou tout membre importateur, selon le cas, du comité exécutif à représenter ses intérêts et à utiliser ses voix au comité exécutif.
2. Without prejudice to the provisions of paragraph 1 of this Article and by written notification to the Chairperson, any exporting or importing member which is not a member of the Executive Committee and which has not cast its votes under paragraph 2 of Article 16 for any of the members elected may authorise any exporting or importing member of the Executive Committee, as appropriate, to represent its interests and to cast its votes in the Executive Committee.

3. Pour les questions dont le comité permanent est saisi conformément à l'article 10, à l'article 11, paragraphe 4, à l'article 16, à l'article 27, paragraphe 1, point a), et paragraphe 2, et à l'article 32, le représentant de la Commission soumet au comité un projet des mesures à prendre.
3. For matters referred to the Standing Committee by virtue of Articles 10, 11(4), 16, 27(1)(a) and (2), and 32, the representative of the Commission shall submit to the committee a draft of the measures to be taken.

La Commission saisit périodiquement les comités prévus aux articles 27, 28 et 29 des rapports visés à l'article 16 du règlement (CEE ) no 2052/88 .
The Commission shall periodically refer to the Committees provided for in Articles 27, 28 and 29 the reports referred to in Article 16 of Regulation (EEC) No 2052/88.
