Le comité de sécurité sanitaire est chargé d'échanger des informations sur les menaces liées à la santé, d'échanger des informations et expériences sur les plans de préparation et de réaction ainsi que sur les stratégies de gestion des crises, de communiquer rapidement en cas de crises liées à la santé, de donner des conseils concernant la préparation et la réaction, ainsi que la coordination de la planification d'urgence au niveau communautaire, d'échanger et de coordonner les réactions des États membres et de la Commission aux crises liées à la santé, ainsi que de faciliter et de soutenir les efforts et initiatives de coordination et de coopération entrepris au niveau communautaire.
The Health Security Committee is charged with exchanging information on health-related threats, sharing information and experience on preparedness and response plans and crisis management strategies, communicating rapidly in case of health-related crises, advising on preparedness and response as well as on co-ordination of emergency planning at EU-level, sharing and co-ordinating health-related crisis responses by Member States and the Commission and facilitating and supporting co-ordination and cooperation efforts and initiatives undertaken at EU-level.
