TRADUCTIONS EN CONTEXTE

L’article 2, point b), du traité instituant la Communauté européenne de l’énergie atomique (traité «Euratom») prévoit l’établissement de normes de sécurité uniformes pour la protection sanitaire de la population et des travailleurs.
Article 2(b) of the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community (‘Euratom Treaty’) provides for the establishment of uniform safety standards to protect the health of workers and of the general public.

Cet amendement est conforme à l'article 30 du traité établissant la Communauté européenne de l'énergie atomique qui prévoit la définition de normes de base au sein de la Communauté pour la protection sanitaire de la population et des travailleurs contre les dangers résultants des radiations ionisantes ainsi qu'aux directives communautaires relatives à l'information et à la consultation des travailleurs.
The amendment is consistent with art. 30 of the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community which provides that basic standards are to be laid down within the Community for the protection of the health of workers and the general public against the dangers arising from ionising radiations, as well as with the EU Directives on information and consultation of workers.

Cette directive ne s’applique pas aux travailleurs exposés seulement aux rayonnements relevant du traité instituant la Communauté européenne de l’énergie atomique (traité Euratom).
This Directive does not apply to workers exposed only to the forms of radiation covered by the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom Treaty).

L'Alliance a également fait savoir, très clairement, qu'elle était une organisation à caractère militaire et non médical, et que, par conséquent, elle devait fournir - telle est son intention - toutes les informations nécessaires, à l'Union européenne, pour que les organisations les plus qualifiées, plus précisément l'Organisation mondiale de la Santé, le programmes des Nations Unies pour l'environnement et l'organisme international de l'énergie atomique, puissent tirer les conclusions qui s'imposent.
NATO has also made it quite clear that it is by nature a military organisation, not a medical one. It is therefore required to submit all the necessary information to the European Union. It fully intends to do so, to enable better qualified organisations, notably the World Health Organisation, the United Nations Environment Programme and the International Atomic Energy Agency to draw the appropriate conclusions.

This task shall cover all sectors of the economy except the mineral extracting industries falling within the responsibility of the Mines Safety and Health Commission and except the protection of the health of workers against the dangers arising from ionizing radiations which is subject to special regulations pursuant to the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community (1)OJ No C 40, 8.4.1974, p. 64 (2)OJ No C 13, 12.2.1974, p. 1.

1. Le présent règlement ne porte pas atteinte aux dispositions du traité instituant la Communauté européenne du charbon et de l'acier relatives aux travailleurs de qualification confirmée dans les professions du charbon et de l'acier, ni à celles du traité instituant la Communauté européenne de l'énergie atomique relatives à l'accès aux emplois qualifiés dans le domaine nucléaire, ni aux dispositions prises en application de ces traités.

This Regulation shall not affect the provisions of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community which relate to workers with recognised qualifications in coalmining or steelmaking, nor those of the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community which deal with eligibility for skilled employment in the field of nuclear energy, nor any measures taken in pursuance of those Treaties.

LA PRESENTE DIRECTIVE NE PORTE PAS ATTEINTE AUX DISPOSITIONS DU TRAITE INSTITUANT LA COMMUNAUTE EUROPEENNE DU CHARBON ET DE L'ACIER RELATIVES AUX TRAVAILLEURS DE QUALIFICATION CONFIRMEE DANS LES PROFESSIONS DU CHARBON ET DE L'ACIER, NI A CELLES DU TRAITE INSTITUANT LA COMMUNAUTE EUROPEENNE DE L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE RELATIVES A L'ACCES AUX EMPLOIS QUALIFIEES DANS LE DOMAINE NUCLEAIRE, NI AUX DISPOSITIONS PRISES EN APPLICATION DE CES TRAITES .
1. This Directive shall not affect the provisions of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community which relate to workers with recognised skills in coal mining and steel making, or the provisions of the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community which deal with the right to take up skilled employment in the field of nuclear energy, or any measures taken in implementation of those Treaties.
