Notes, that the contribution to the European Medicines Agency for 2015, as requested by the Agency and as adopted by the Commission amounts to EUR 31,516 million; is aware that to this amount, the 2013 outturn of EUR 1,499 million needs to be added, reaching a total contribution of EUR 33,015 million in 2015; points out that the proposed contribution does not cover any additional contribution relating to the implementation of the Pharmacovigilance legislation, as the costs of this activity are to be covered by fees; recalls that Regulation (EU) No 658/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council entered into force in July 2014 and that the Agency will have to adapt its existing human and financial resources to cover the Pharmacovigilance activities; stresses that the European Medicines Agency is one of the industry-driven agencies which, in the last four years, has not received one additional post for the implementation of the Pharmacovigilance legislation resulting in a slow-down of handling files;

From the end of the duration of the Galileo Joint Undertaking, as referred to in Article 1 of the Regulation (EC) No 876/2002 and in Article 20 of its Annex, the Authority shall be the owner of all the tangible and intangible assets created or developed during the entire development phase, including those owned by the Galileo Joint Undertaking in accordance with Article 6 of the Annex of that Regulation and those created or developed by the European Space Agency and by entities given responsibility by the latter or by the Galileo Joint Undertaking for activities for the development of the programme.

3. Although some 40 to 50 (private and corporate) branches were closed in Berlin in each category, closing branches in a large city with high branch density serves mainly to cut costs and, according to the comments by Germany, causes customers to change banks only to a limited extent (33) Moreover, the additional information referred to and provided by Germany shows that the intention was not significantly to reduce market presence in Berlin, but to maintain BGB’s position in individual segments or even to strengthen it slightly.

Whereas the coordinated rules concerning the taking-up and pursuit of the business or direct insurance within the Community should, in principle, apply to all undertakings entering the market and, consequently, also to agencies and branches where the head office of the undertaking is situated outside the Community ; whereas it is, nevertheless, desirable as regards the methods of supervision to make special provision with respect to such agencies or branches in view of the fact that the assets of the undertakings to which they belong are situated outside the Community;
